Our team has developed great expertise in large-scale projects that require complex analysis and the use of advanced mathematical models.

Sector analysis

Sector analysis is an evaluation of the company’s competitive positioning within its sector, based on customers behaviour.

Strategic objectives are aimed at attracting and retaining customers, and analysis includes three parameters :
  • Customer loyalty : identify the characteristics of loyal and occasional customers
  • Transfers : evaluate the flow of customers among competitors within the sector
  • Movement : analyze changes in behaviour over time
A TRANSFER TABLE illustrates the distribution of consumer volumes of a product or service
Here, 47% of the customers of A frequent only A, while 20% also frequent B

A transfer table

The position of a product or service can be understood based on its relationship with competing products or services, and this relationship is determined through customer behaviours. Range, frequency and volume are the three parameters that allow us to calculate and segment retention rates, regularity or exclusivity and transfer volumes.

Positioning analysis

Positioning analysis is an extension of the sector transfer analysis.

The principle of this analysis is that the position of a service is determined by the relationship it has with competing services, based on frequency.

The mathematical models used are factorial analysis of multiple correspondences.

Situational analysis

Situational analysis is an assessment of the environment in which a choice is made and a service is used.

This analysis is aimed at evaluating the possibilities or risks of a product or service substitution within purchase or consumption situations. It also measures the market shares of the service, competing services and substitute services.

The parameters of a normal situation are :
  • The goal of the action
  • Time
  • Place
  • Entourage
  • Continuum of activities

Tracking your customers can be done using the Customer Tracking Program (C.T.P), which is supported by Statmédia® surveys.

The running tally of customers for each round of surveys means that a constant sample of your customers is under observation.
